My very first blog was the journal on my deviantART page, where I posted recaps of my day, long personal quizzes, and rants about “preps” and “society”. That was over a decade ago. I’ve stuck with the blog since then, though I like to think my content these days is a little more interesting and nuanced.

Here on Brainthoughts, I cover topics ranging from US politics, internet culture, and relationship advice to ink and paper, humanism, and Magic: the Gathering card design. It’s definitely an eclectic mix, but I like to think that by sharing these oddball facets of myself, I can inspire interesting new thoughts in readers like you. As far as I’m concerned, the stories I can best tell are my own, so I try to ground my writing in my own experiences and branch out from there.

If you’re interested in seeing some of my favorite posts, or if you’d like to browse by month or category, head on over to the Archives. You can also learn who the hell I am by going to the About Me page.
